The Luxembourg American Cultural Society is
proud to present its first-ever virtual concert, &ldquo\;Live from Luxemb
ourg: Featuring the Music of Luxembourg&rsquo\;s Zero Point Five.&rdquo\;
This pre-recorded concert will premiere on Luxembourg&rsquo\;s National Da
y holiday, Tuesday, June 23rd at 8 pm CST as a benefit fo
r the Luxembourg American Cultural Society and a way to band its global co
mmunity of Luxembourg Americans together on a day of joy and celebration.
&ldquo\;During this isolating time, it is more important than
ever to create a sense of community, and what better way to bring people t
ogether than through music,&rdquo\; says Patricia Lutz, Executive Director
at the LACS. &ldquo\;We also hope that this concert will serve as a previ
ew for next year&rsquo\;s Luxembourg Fest, as we are keeping our fingers c
rossed for Zero Point Five to join us for our 2021 Fest.&rdquo\;
The concert will premiere on the LACS website, www.lacs.lu. It is sponsored by Plus Group Wealt

Zero Point
Five is one of the most played bands on Luxembourg national television an
d radio stations. This high-energy act boasts an instrument repertoire inc
luding everything from banjos and mandolins to guitars and fiddles. Their
sound can be described as an explosion of musical flavors: pop, folk, Celt
ic and country with a Luxembourg twist\; their music having been compared
to Mumford and Sons and the Zac Brown band.
Four members of Ze
ro Point Five will be performing a 45-minute playlist of original music as
well as traditional Luxembourgish songs that have been lovingly passed do
wn through the generations. Songs will be performed in a mix of English an
d Luxembourgish.
National Day, June 23rd, provides the perfect
backdrop for this virtual event. It is a Luxembourg holiday honoring the G
rand Duke&rsquo\;s birthday, traditionally celebrated with live music, dan
cing, food, and fireworks at a host of festive, open-air parties throughou
t the country.

ational Day from your own living room, the LACS is also offering a Nationa
l Day Celebration Kit for purchase on its website. The kit includes a Luxe
mbourg-themed t-shirt, pin, a mini flag, book, CDs, Deluxe steak seasoning
