es, generators, transformers, etc. in wind \;turbine generators (WTG)
over 1MW onshore and offshore without the need of high tonnage crane Koala
Lifter embraces the tower of the WTG to provide high reliability, robustne
ss and safety level during the whole operation. It can operate with high w
inds, reducing the WTG downtime. It is a great alternative solution to hig
h tonnage cranes for exchanging large components in WTG. This reduces cost
and increases production because of the low availability of these cranes,
their limitation to operate with winds over 6-7 m/s for such loads, and t
heir huge asset cost.
