Luxembourg has retained its leading position within the EU relating to green finance, with the latest Global Green Finance Index (GGFI 13) reconfirming Luxembourg’s place as the number one EU green financial centre. Luxembourg fared well across all four areas of competitiveness highlighted within the index, however in particular within the Human Capital and Business areas where it is positioned first and second respectively. On May 25, the Embassy of the United States of America in Luxembourg, together with the American Battle Monuments Commission, held the annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Luxembourg American Cemetery in Luxembourg, commemorating the men and women who sacrificed their lives in military service. “Memorial Day serves as a poignant reminder of our responsibility to preserve and defend the freedoms for which so many military members have given their lives.
