Downpours in recent weeks have set the region's winegrowers on course for the year

The region’s vineyards are in “tip-top shape” ahead of the annual grape harvest which is due to start in mid-September, said Serge Fischer, department head at the country’s Wine Institute (Institut d'état Viti-Vinicole, IVV) in Remich. “It could hardly be better,” Fischer told the Luxemburger Wort.
