Our first spotlight is on….Arizona & New Mexico ~ supported out of San Francisco, CA by Mr. Daniel Da Cruz, Consul General, Executive Director LTIO

ARIZONA

Home to the Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona is located in the Southwest region of the U.S.  The newly installed Honorary Consul for Arizona and New Mexico is Mr. Paul Binsfeld. An entrepreneur and highly successful business-professional himself, Paul is a great resource who is available to connect with you regarding doing business in the region. Paul’s full bio can be found HERE. Paul’s contact information can be found HERE in our list of Honorary Consuls in North America.

Not only does Paul Binsfeld think Arizona is a great place to do business, so does international-professional, entrepreneur, and LACC member (and longtime Arizona resident), Mr. Alan Carey.

“…Arizona is friendly to business. The current governor is a former successful entrepreneur himself. In 15 minutes online you can set up your company…if you need a lawyer [in Arizona], their fees can be about 33% lower than those on the East coast. …Phoenix is extremely fast-growing [area], with a population larger than Boston. Other Arizona cities, like Mesa, are larger than Atlanta… In Arizona people are business oriented. …Arizona had the first Fintech Sandbox on the American continent. If you are an innovator - whether it is in Bio, AI, interior design and construction, autonomous vehicles, health care, software, aerospace, smart cities, Iot, cybersecurity, etc. - you have resources like the US Commercial Service to help you. Also you can ask institutions in every state to help you for free. Organizations like the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, will provide to you free of charge all the data needed for making a decision.”

NEW MEXICO

What’s New Mexico known for? All sorts of things! It is a land of wine and chile, of ski slopes and sand dunes, of Indigenous tradition and cowboy culture. New Mexico has a commercially licensed spaceport and more PhDs per capita than any other state. New Mexico is one of the largest and most-historied states in the U.S. with communities dating back over a thousand years.

Here is what LTIO Executive Director, Mr. Daniel Da Cruz, has to say about doing business in New Mexico...

“New Mexico and Luxembourg are deeply connected when it comes to innovation, research and sustainable economic development. I look forward to growing our connections in New Mexico.”

We will continue to feature information about doing business in different areas around North America. If you have a request for specific info, please check the full list of Honorary Consuls HERE or contact LACC and we will be happy to help you make the connection.
