The new US ambassador to Luxembourg, Stacey Feinberg, has raised the prospect of launching a direct flight between the Grand Duchy and the US with Transport Minister Yuriko Backes, a quarter of a century after a non-stop route was last operated.
Feinberg, who was officially installed as the US ambassador on 13 November, held a meeting the following week with Backes and said in a LinkedIn post that the pair had “a great discussion” about issues including “the value of getting a direct US - Luxembourg flight.”....
