Enabling U.S. 5G through Satellite Spectrum Clearing

Since 2017, satellite operator SES has been working collaboratively with its US customers, suppliers, competitors and with the FCC to enable the clearing of a portion of the spectrum used for satellite services.  This is paving the way for Federal Communication Commission’s largest spectrum auction ever in January 2021, yielding over USD 80 billion for US Treasury while at the same time accelerating the roll-out of 5G in the US and creating value for satellite operators.

Join us to hear more on this exciting topic from Christophe De Hauwer, Chief Development Officer of SES

Our keynote address will be given by Ms. Jeanne Crauser, Consul General of Luxembourg in New York and the Executive Director of Luxembourg Trade & Investment Office in New York
