Jackie Meeker arrived in Luxembourg in June 2019 to begin her assignment as the consular chief at the U.S. Embassy. She previously served in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Islamabad, Pakistan.  Jackie joined the Foreign Service in 2014, after having worked as a chamber of commerce director, a community college …

Jackie Meeker arrived in Luxembourg in June 2019 to begin her assignment as the consular chief at the U.S. Embassy. She previously served in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Islamabad, Pakistan.  Jackie joined the Foreign Service in 2014, after having worked as a chamber of commerce director, a community college program director, and an intelligence analyst (Czech linguist) in the U.S. Army during the Cold War. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, Vancouver, and a Master’s degree from the University of Wyoming. Jackie is joined at post by her husband, Ross, a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant. Together, they have two adult daughters and two grandchildren.
