Digital currencies were for many years considered a novelty, only used for obscure internet transactions. However, as digitalisation and innovation become entrenched in financial services, investors and finance companies are increasingly looking at digital assets.

In their first Focus On livestream for 2022, Luxembourg For Finance will examine this issue through a series of fireside chats delving into topics including Tokenisation, Digital Asset Custody, CBDCs and the Regulator’s Perspective among others.

For this event, participants will be joined by experts from Deutsche BankSTOKR, BNY Mellon, Fabric Ventures, Bitstamp and the CSSF.

CO-FOUNDER, STOKR

Tobias Seidl has co-founded STOKR in 2017 with the vision to simplify investing and to increase the choices of investment opportunities for everyone.

He focuses not only on the challenges SMEs face when seeking funding in Europe but also on the pain everyday investors have when trying to invest outside of the established financial products.

Tobias creates new alternative investment products for both sides. They can be directly issued to the investors’ wallets increasing diversification possibilities, decreasing risks and allowing control over the investor base and investments.

While Tobias worked most of his life as an investment structuring expert for international law firms and asset managers, he worked as well for a few years as an industrial designer of snowboards and lifts. He never lost his passion for the beauty of simple functional design and guided the platform design and branding of STOKR in this spirit.
