The Luxembourg Trade & Investment Office and the Luxembourg-American Chamber of Commerce are hosting a special gathering at the Luxembourg House in New York to celebrate a milestone in space exploration.
Later this week, the Moon is set to welcome Resilience, a spacecraft developed by the Japanese company ispace, as it attempts a historic landing. On board is Tenacious, a lunar rover built in Luxembourg, where ispace’s European headquarters are located. Tenacious will explore the lunar surface and collect samples of regolith, the Moon’s loose surface material.
This exciting mission also coincides with two major milestones: the 50th anniversary of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the 20th anniversary of Luxembourg’s membership in ESA.
To celebrate these achievements, we are bringing together space enthusiasts engaged with Luxembourg or curious about our dynamic space ecosystem for an evening of conversation, inspiration, and community, on Tuesday, June 10th, at 6 PM.
