How to Fuel Your Mind and Body on Plants

In the recent weeks and months, we were all forced to change our habits dramatically. Being stuck at home for most of the day, and having to create a new routine, can be challenging at times. Some of us are still getting used to the new normal. It's nevertheless essential, now more than ever, to take care of yourself. And it all starts with what you eat. 

In this workshop, we will discuss the benefits of continuing or starting to eat healthy during quarantine. We will talk about how 'plant forward' diets can make you feel even better, both physically and mentally. And we will chat through simple adjustments you can make to your current eating habits, by talking through easy shopping and meal prep tips and tools.

Duration: 20-25 min presentation, followed by 10-15 mins Q+A

Isabelle Steichen grew up in Luxembourg and moved from Europe to the US in 2013. She transitioned to a plant based diet at the same time, driven by ethical, environmental and heath reasons. Since moving to NYC, Isabelle has worked closely with founding teams for various early stage VC backed startups in the food and tech space. Her first role was at Kitchensurfing, an on-demand chef service startup, where she launched the business in new markets and scaled the on-demand chef team. Most recently, Isabelle ran the operations and customer service team at Sawyer, a Brooklyn based education software company. As a long time passionate vegan, certified in plant based nutrition from e-Cornell, as well as the founder of the Plantiful Podcast, she is now combining her startup background with her desire to spread plant based eating with her new business Lupii. Lupii is here to help people live plantiful lives through the power of the small but mighty lupini bean, which is not only good for humans but also for mama nature.
