Biography
Melissa Erdogdu, from Luxembourg, is a Director and Counsel in the Corporate Transactions team at Merck. Prior to working at Merck, Melissa was a member of Sun Pharmaceuticals’ legal department supporting corporate transactions and a corporate associate at Cravath Swaine & Moore in New York and London for over six years. In this regard, Melissa has led transactions for large pharmaceutical companies and other Fortune 500 companies, including mergers and acquisitions, license agreements, joint venture agreements, debt and equity investments and other complex multi-territorial agreements and relationships.
Melissa is a graduate of the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne, the University of Paris II Pantheon-Assas (Masters in International Economic Law) and The University of Chicago Law School, where she attended as a Fulbright scholar, and speaks four languages (French, Greek, Turkish and English).
