Amazon is the 2018 recipient of the Luxembourg-American Business Award that will be celebrated on May 15th, 2018 during a ceremony organized by the Luxembourg American Chamber of Commerce (LACC) that was founded in 1991 to stimulate and promote economic development, trade and investment, between North America and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The award ceremony will take place in New York in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Guillaume and Crown Princess Stephanie, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy, Etienne Schneider.

Goodyear’s latest concept tire, introduced at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, quite literally brings the future of mobility to life as a visionary solution for cleaner, more convenient, safer and more sustainable urban mobility. The concept, named Oxygene, has a unique structure that features living moss growing within the sidewall. This open structure and the tire’s smart tread design absorb and circulate moisture and water from the road surface, allowing photosynthesis to occur and therefore releasing oxygen into the air.
Luxembourg has clocked in more than 20 "top-ranked" finance firms over the course of the last year, which have chosen to set up shop or move activities to the Grand Duchy. The moves come as Luxembourg competes with other European cities to attract businesses preparing for Britain's departure from the European Union.
